Who we are
SAO is a South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) certified Aviation Training Organisation (ATO 0385), offering superior aviation training services through a team of highly motivated and experienced instructors. The staff are backed up by a diverse fleet of impeccably maintained Aircraft and Helicopters that are suitable for a variety of applications.
These include training from PPL through to ATPL, specific ratings, conversions, slinging, crop spraying, aerial surveillance, game management and charter operations.
The Academy offers required knowledge tuition through one on one and group ground school and computer based training ground school designed to prepare students for all related examination services as well as flight assessments for all mandated training operations.
